A fine sparkling wine from the veneto region, the residual sweetness is 11 grams/litre – only marginally higher than most nv champagnes to give it some perspective. The colour is a shivery pale lemon. Florals and pears dominate the aromatics with a touch of citrus and there is a quality reminiscent of licking icy granite blocks (for those who have ever indulged). The flavours are very much upfront, this is clean and refreshing with bright acidity and a gentle fade.
